Hun SenThe Vietnamese installed Cambodia's leaders Heng Samrin and Hun Sen. They had both defected to Vietnam from the Khmer Rouge in 1978 and 1977. Hun Sen became foreign minister (1979 - 1985) and then Premier in 1985. 1990 to 2002 >> 
SihanoukIn 1982, under pressure from China, Sihanouk agreed to head a coalition opposed to the new government. The coalition was made up of Sihanouk's royalist supporters, a non-communist group and the Khmer Rouge - the most powerful of the three groups. 1990 to 2002 >>
