Asking questions
The question section is available from February 17th to April 11th 2003. To ask questions about life in Cambodia, World Vision's work there, the effects of the Cambodia's past, or any other topic for the panel to answer, use the question form on the internet site.
  • This is in "Find Out" and is labelled Ask a Question
  • Students fill in their name, school and the question they want to ask.
  • Fill in the password you received when you registered, and click "submit".
When the panel has answered the question (probably in three days), both the question and its answer will appear on the site. We will put some selected questions on the answer page so everyone can enjoy reading the best questions and their answers. You can also find any question and its answer using "Search" on the answer page, typing in the student's name or the name of your school (as you typed it when you sent your question). You can also search for all questions on a particular topic, using a key word search.

Memory Wall
Students can submit their work on Cambodia, or their reflections on what they have been learning, as "blocks" of the Memory Wall, so that others can view them. You may wish to select several items from the class that you consider deserve to be shared, or you may wish to make a Memory Wall submission a unit requirement, or even an assessment exercise. The Memory Wall will remain open indefinitely for new submissions.

To submit an item, students should first prepare their response in the form of a story, poem, painting, Powerpoint presentation, video clip or other item that allows them to communicate what they have learned, and/or how they feel about some aspect of Cambodia's history.
  • Save this response in one of the formats listed on the website.
  • Check the file is correct and appropriate to publish on the web.
  • Follow the instructions on the form in the "Memory Wall" section. You will need to use the password you received when you registered.

Simulation game
Working individually or in small groups, students "walk in the shoes" of a Cambodian family from the 1970s to the present day.
  • Instructions for the Timestream Journey game are available here.
  • Register for and play the game here.

Feature Stories
Check the Feature Stories every couple of days to read interesting stories and articles about Cambodia. The topics, language level and length will engage older students' interest.
